Due to a lack of time to sit and edit a large selection of videos the choices below are but a few samples of our work...
The video footage you will be viewing is raw footage... we are pond builders not videographers. :-)
So, please understand that the clips you will see are not professional, but the ponds are!
This is what we did the Summer of 2010! It was a 12 week project. This video has narration explaining the job we did. Hope you enjoy it. Roxanne Bender
The "Little Engine That Could". A G-Scale train and village around a pondless waterfall with a 15' stream flowing into "Pyramid Lake".
This brief shot introduces our "Extreme Pondless" and our "Patio Ponds" with video that I shot and sent in to Good Day Sacramento.
This is the second introduction to our upcoming segment about our work.
Jackie is pondering how to stay in this yard for the afternoon!
When we started this yard the only landscaping it had was dirt and four large evergreens.
Jackie Tranchida was a delight to work with for this spot.
This is a pondless waterfall built with three little dogs in mind.
This was quite a challenge because the orignial was a large cement square with a small cement square pouring off of two spouts into the larger square. We also had to prevent multiple leaks into the pond from the landscape water seeping in through the concrete and the filtration was limited and troublesome at best!
This is a very large water feature with split falls, a split-stone footbridge, a four foot tunnel under the bridge for the fish, four caves, underwater lighting, and beautiful plants and stones. The fish had not been introduced upon completion -- when this video was taken.
We started with dirt and a Maple tree....
These videos are taken by us upon completion of our projects. We also take lots of pictures throughout the building process and present a DVD of the photos to the homeowner. With the photos they are able to tell where all the different hoses, plumbing, and cords go for future knowledge. Since we don't build a pond-in-a-day as many pond companies do, our customers are able to see what steps we take to ensure the best structural integrity that we can offer. We "glue" all the stones together like a veneer on the liner as well as the smaller stones in between the larger ones. With this extra step we not only make it stronger, but you can spray it with a jet of water or pressure wash it and the gravel and rocks DO NOT tumble down to the bottom. Plants are planted in the gravel so the root system becomes a filter mat of sorts for the fish debris. We try to keep our plant selection to those that are not terribly aggressive growers to help your pond be low-maintenance.
